Happy 5th at Western Coast!

Tell us about your journey here at Western Coast

Hi, I’m Sabrina Langston and I have celebrated my 5-year anniversary at Western Coast Insurance. I work as the manager for the branches in Langley and Clayton.

I started managing the Grandview Corners location November 2017 and I was hired by Mark Dutton and Fame Khan. I started working with the Branch Manager Council in 2018, and in mid-2018 I was managing both Clayton and Grandview Corners offices.

In 2019, I was managing Coquitlam, Clayton, and Grandview Corners office. Now I am managing Langley and Clayton offices and am currently the Wheels and Agency Billed Leader for our Cluster. I am really seeing positive things from our cluster working together so closely this year.

What are you most proud of working here at Western Coast?

I am so proud to see all of the wonderful people I work with grow in their careers here at Western Coast. In my career, I have had the privilege to mentor and promote five people to management roles.

What are the major components of your job on a daily basis?

It’s a lot of phone calls and a lot of talking to people all day. Plus, there’s lots of reports. It’s fun!

What do you enjoy the most about the job?

I enjoy the fantastic people I get to work with every day. I feel blessed!

What are your favorite hobbies?

I love to boat with my fiancé. Living on the West Coast, we get to go on lots of fun ocean adventures.

What has been your favorite memory with Western Coast in these last 5 years?

I would have to say it was when I was working on the Branch Manager Council in 2019. I worked with some brilliant, funny people. They were a real think tank of folks. We called ourselves the Power Rangers and made t-shirts that we wore when we did a presentation to the executive team. We even played the Power Rangers theme song. Such a fun memory!
