In honour of January being National Hobby Month, Jaclyn Chidlow, assistant branchAssistant manager shares passion for cadets manager at our Western Coast Insurance Services location in Langley, British Columbia, shared what she does in her time off.
“I enjoy working with the Cadet program. I have been an officer in the military with the Cadets for the last 20 years. Knowing these young adults are going to do great things for our country and being able to impact their lives is such a joy for me."
"The Cadets are very involved in giving back to their communities; we help every year with the poppy campaign for our veterans, street clean-up days, the occasional music concert at senior’s homes and many more activities.”
The Canadian Cadet Organization is a dynamic program for youth across Canada ranging from the ages of 12-18. Youth can join the Sea, Army, or Air Cadets where they learn skills that help them transition into adulthood from learning how to sail, fly, study aerospace and much more.
