Celebrating Charlene's 10 year Anniversary with Western Coast

Tell us about your journey here at Western Coast?

Hi, I’m Charlene Gant and I have just celebrated my 10-year anniversary with Western Coast Insurance Services. I started in 2012 after spending years in retail malls and it was a natural transition to sales. I worked my way up in Personal Lines from a General Insurance Representative to a Team Lead, then to a Branch Manager. After a few years, I felt I needed a change and switched over to Commercial Lines as part of the Admin Team and then a Team Lead again.

What has been your favorite memory with Western Coast in these last 10 years?

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, and having recently moved to Sooke with my family, I love being a part of the community that I grew up in. And one of my favorite things about Western Coast is being a part of the Western Financial Group’s Western Communities Foundation. The fundraising we do to help build playgrounds and support programs in our local communities is so important.

What’s next for you?

I want to share some exciting news. Next month I am transitioning once again from the Commercial Lines Admin Team to the Sales Team as an Account Executive and am looking forward to helping customers!
